Shortcut Keys in Microsoft Excel
There are many shortcut keys which we use in different Windows or Windows based Software. In this I would like to mention those particular ones which we use in Microsoft Excel specially.
Ctrl + Page Up is used to go to previous sheet.
Ctrl + Page Down is used to go to previous sheet.
Ctrl + arrow key is used to move cell pointer.
Shift + Space Bar is used to select a row.
Ctrl + Space Bar is used to select a column.
Ctrl + D is used to copy the matter/formula in first column to below selected columns.
Ctrl + R is used to copy the matter/formula in first column towards right side selected columns.
Ctrl + 1 is used for formatting cell.
F2 is for editing cell data.
Alt + = is used for adding the numbers of the selected columns. The numbers written can be either in columns or in rows.
Shift + arrow keys is used to select columns.
Shift + Ctrl + arrow keys is used to select columns till the last column which has data.
Alt + Page up/down is used to move right or left in a worksheet.
Home Key is used to go to the left most column in the worksheet.
End Key and then right/down arrow key to the last column towards right or downwards in the worksheet or the column with data.
Ctrl + End is used to move the cell pointer to the last cell in which some data has been stored.
